Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Umang Dairies, Keynote Financial, Sportking India, Mukka Proteins and Chennai Petro, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:20AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 59.71 points to 24646.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Stampede Cap(DVR), SecUR Credentials, M M Forgings and Landmark Cars, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 30 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, BPCL, HUL, Bharti Airtel and Tata Consumer were among top gainers, while Kotak Bank, Dr. Reddys, Shriram Finance, SBI Life and UltraTech Cem. traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 184.95 points up at 80849.81 at 11:20AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Fertilisers, Petrochemicals, Term Lending Institutions, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock and Packaging sectors, while selling was visible in Aquaculture, Beverages - Alcoholic, Metals - Non Ferrous, Gems and Jewellery and ReIT sectors.
