Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Alphageo , Shreyans Ind, Rail Vikas Nigam, Kaya and Suven Life Sci, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:05AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 37.55 points to 24286.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as CMI Ltd, Brightcom Group, Praxis Home Retail, MEP Infrastructure and GIR Natureview, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 17 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 33 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Consumer, HUL, Nestle India, ITC and HDFC Life were among top gainers, while Titan Company, Divis Labs, Shriram Finance, Adani Ports SEZ and Adani Ent. traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 121.82 points down at 79874.78 at 11:05AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Fertilisers, Irrigation & Allied Services, Petrochemicals, Packaging and Defence sectors, while selling was visible in Gems and Jewellery, Beverages - Alcoholic, Airlines, Aquaculture and Auto sectors.
