Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of G M Breweries, Refex Industries, DCX Systems, Rane Holdings and JK Paper, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 8.5 points to 24150.45 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Hilton Metal, Akme Fintrade(India, Praxis Home Retail, GIR Natureview and IndInfravit Trust, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 24 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, Infosys, LTIMindtree, Wipro and ONGC were among top gainers, while Kotak Bank, Bajaj Finance, Shriram Finance, ICICI Bank and HDFC Life traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 9.78 points down at 79466.41 at 10:55AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Fertilisers, Irrigation & Allied Services, Packaging, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock and Rubber sectors, while selling was visible in Airlines, Gas & Petroleum, Beverages - Alcoholic, Tobacco and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors.
