Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Burnpur Cement, GRP Ltd, Jindal Photo, Amines Plastic and Hexa Tradex, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:24AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 84.55 points to 23953.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Filatex Fashions, SecUR Credentials, IndInfravit Trust, 3rd Rock MultiMedia and GIR Natureview, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 22 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 28 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, UltraTech Cem., Grasim Inds., Dr. Reddys, JSW Steel and RIL were among top gainers, while M&M, Maruti Suzuki, Tech Mahindra, L&T and Sun Pharma traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 268.33 points up at 78942.58 at 10:24AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Fertilisers, Packaging, Irrigation & Allied Services, Sugar and Paper sectors, while selling was visible in Gas & Petroleum, Airlines, Tobacco, Beverages - Alcoholic and Aquaculture sectors.
