Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Naga Dhunseri Group, AmaraRaja Batteries, PNB Gilts, Somi Conveyor and Zodiac Clothing, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:19AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 58.36 points to 23596.2 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Future Supply Chain, We Win, Eurotex Ind, Pansari Developers and Universus Photo, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 23 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Axis Bank, UltraTech Cem., HDFC Bank, Britannia and Hero MotoCorp were among top gainers, while BPCL, Adani Ports SEZ, SBI Life, HCL Tech and Bajaj Finserv traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 231.63 points up at 77572.71 at 10:19AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Fertilisers, Sugar, Irrigation & Allied Services, Packaging and Petrochemicals sectors, while selling was visible in Gas & Petroleum, Tobacco, FMCG, Airlines and Beverages - Alcoholic sectors.
