Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Tirupati Forge, Windsor Machine, Paras Defence, Poddar Pigments and JNK India, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:00AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 75.81 points to 23541.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Bohra Industries, CMI Ltd, GIR Natureview, IndInfravit Trust and Ahimsa Ind, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 28 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 22 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Shriram Finance, Wipro, Power Grid, Titan Company and M&M were among top gainers, while Maruti Suzuki, Dr. Reddys, Divis Labs, UltraTech Cem. and SBI Life traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 256.81 points up at 77249.58 at 11:00AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Irrigation & Allied Services, Defence, Sugar, Miscellaneous and Cables sectors, while selling was visible in Beverages - Alcoholic, Metals - Non Ferrous, Aquaculture, Airlines and IT Software sectors.
