Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Emami, Heritage Foods, Suprajit Engg, Excel Realty N Infra and Balaxi Pharma, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:24AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 103.21 points to 22601.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Revathi Equipment, Borosil, Eurotex Ind, Raj Television and Keerti Knowledge, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 9 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 41 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Axis Bank, Kotak Bank, SBI, IndusInd Bank and ICICI Bank were among top gainers, while Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Nestle India, Titan Company and Power Grid traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 370.08 points down at 74132.82 at 10:24AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Leather, Telecommunications, Industrial Consumables, Sugar and Glass sectors, while selling was visible in Trading, Cement, Banks, IT Software and Metals - Ferrous sectors.
