Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of GRSE, Elgi Rubber Co, Excel Realty N Infra, PG Electroplast and Cochin Shipyard, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:54AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 87.55 points to 22685.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Brightcom Group, United Polyfab Gujar, GSS Infotech, SAB Events & Governance and Regency Ceramic, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 30 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Axis Bank, L&T, BPCL, SBI and Eicher Motors were among top gainers, while Sun Pharma, Power Grid, Hindalco, JSW Steel and Grasim Inds. traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 359.84 points up at 74580.9 at 10:54AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Term Lending Institutions, Telecommunications, Defence, Consumer Durables and Gas & Petroleum sectors, while selling was visible in Metals - Non Ferrous, Trading, Cement, Irrigation & Allied Services and Media & Entertainment sectors.
