Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Indian Hume Pipe, Crompton Greaves, ISMT Ltd, Kirloskar Elec and Cords Cable Ind, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:04AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 60.86 points to 22464.7 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Brightcom Group, Karda Const, BKM Industries, Thomas Scott and Eurotex Ind, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 23 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Grasim Inds., UltraTech Cem., JSW Steel and Tata Motors were among top gainers, while Cipla, SBI Life, Nestle India, Britannia and Adani Ports SEZ traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 277.23 points up at 73940.95 at 11:04AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Aquaculture, Consumer Durables, Chemicals and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors, while selling was visible in Construction, IT - Hardware, Banks, IT Enabled Services and Cement sectors.
