Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Kirloskar Pneumatic, Associated Alch, Centrum Capital, Thermax and Siemens, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:39AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 52.0 points to 22165.85 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as GSS Infotech, Medico Remedies, Butterfly Gandhi, Eurotex Ind and Shree Vasu Logistics, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 16 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, Coal India Ltd, Adani Ent., Dr. Reddys and NTPC were among top gainers, while JSW Steel, Britannia, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Auto and Eicher Motors traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 252.05 points down at 72852.56 at 10:39AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Irrigation & Allied Services, Mining, Engineering, Electric/Electronics and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was visible in Cement, Construction, Banks, Cables and Pesticides/Agro Chemicals sectors.
