Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of D-Link(India), ABB India, Kapston Facilities, Piramal Pharma and Dolphin Offshore, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:05AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 168.61 points to 21886.6 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Medico Remedies, Morarjee Text, Rajvir Ind, Brightcom Group and SRM Contractors, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 9 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 41 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, Asian Paints, HDFC Life, Britannia and Adani Ent. were among top gainers, while Tata Motors, BPCL, Coal India Ltd, Hero MotoCorp and Shriram Finance traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 624.43 points down at 72040.04 at 11:05AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Engineering, Building Materials, Industrial Equipment, Shipping and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was visible in Trading, Auto, Tea / Coffee, Irrigation & Allied Services and General sectors.
