Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Univastu India, Taj GVK Hotels, Ajanta Pharma, Arrow Greentech and BHEL, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:34AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 17.15 points to 22665.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Adroit Infotech (PP), Signpost India, Melstar Info, Osia Hyper Retail and Naga Dhunseri Group, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 28 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 22 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finance, Coal India Ltd, ONGC, Bajaj Finserv and Tata Consumer were among top gainers, while Bharti Airtel, HDFC Life, L&T, Nestle India and Tech Mahindra traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 44.46 points down at 74566.65 at 10:34AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Mining, Metals - Non Ferrous, Industrial Equipment, NBFC and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors, while selling was visible in Trading, Construction, Tyres, Media & Entertainment and Aquaculture sectors.
