Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Ram Ratna Wire, Uravi T and Wedge, Geojit Financial, Hindustan Motor and REC, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:34AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 82.71 points to 22687.55 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Adroit Infotech (PP), Kotak Bank, Osia Hyper Retail, Keerti Knowledge and IndInfravit Trust, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 32 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Power Grid, BPCL, Bajaj Auto, Asian Paints and Sun Pharma were among top gainers, while Kotak Bank, Tata Consumer, Bharti Airtel, Divis Labs and Wipro traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 278.26 points up at 74761.04 at 10:34AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Aquaculture, Term Lending Institutions, Irrigation & Allied Services, Paper and Building Materials sectors, while selling was visible in Trading, Cement, Media & Entertainment, Plastics and Pesticides/Agro Chemicals sectors.
