Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Eldeco Housing, Par Drugs & Chemical, KM Sugar Mills, Sri Adhikari and Bajel Projects, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:44AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 127.75 points to 21868.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Lakshmi Precis, MEP Infrastructure, Ibull Housing Fin(PP), Sumeet Ind and Keerti Knowledge, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 10 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 40 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ITC, M&M, Grasim Inds., ONGC and Bharti Airtel were among top gainers, while Bajaj Auto, Axis Bank, BPCL, Tata Motors and Eicher Motors traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 384.26 points down at 72104.73 at 10:44AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Aquaculture, Irrigation & Allied Services, Tobacco and Retail sectors, while selling was visible in Trading, Construction, Cement, Defence and Learning & Education sectors.
