Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Somi Conveyor, Gopal Snacks, Colgate-Palmolive, Solar Ind. and Cigniti Tech, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 158.71 points to 21987.95 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as MPS Infotecnics, Godha Cabcon & Insul, Mask Investments, The Western India and Lakshmi Precis, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 10 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 40 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, UPL, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel, Titan Company and ITC were among top gainers, while BPCL, Coal India Ltd, ONGC, NTPC and Infosys traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 465.37 points down at 72631.91 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, IT - Hardware, Leather, Pesticides/Agro Chemicals and Tobacco sectors, while selling was visible in Agro Processing, FMCG, Defence, Logistics and Mining sectors.
