Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Hercules Hoists, Laxmi Goldorna House, Modern Threads(India)Ltd., Tarapur Trans and Jio Financial Servic, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:20AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 35.8 points to 22368.45 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Sindhu Trade, GPT Healthcare, Suraj Estate Develop, Medicamen Bio and Vibhor Steel Tubes, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 15 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Bank, TCS, Eicher Motors, LTIMindtree and Infosys were among top gainers, while Cipla, ITC, JSW Steel, Bajaj Auto and SBI traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 233.93 points up at 73736.57 at 11:20AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Airlines, IT Software, Petrochemicals and Retail sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Agro Processing, Miscellaneous, Defence and Logistics sectors.
