Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

Chemfab Alkalis, Kirloskar Bros., Torrent Power, Solar Ind. and Kalpataru Power, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:50AM.

Nagaraj Shetti, Technical Research Analyst at HDFC Securities, believes Monday's pattern could be considered as a High Wave, which reflects high volatility in the market at swing highs.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Chemfab Alkalis, Kirloskar Bros., Torrent Power, Solar Ind. and Kalpataru Power, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:50AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 77.15 points to 22416.4 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Vibhor Steel Tubes, Infomedia Press, Platinum Industries, Mask Investments and Stampede Cap(DVR), touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 22 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 28 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Nestle India, Cipla, BPCL, Bajaj Finserv and SBI Life were among top gainers, while Tata Consumer, Tata Steel, Power Grid, Bajaj Auto and IndusInd Bank traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 295.79 points down at 73823.6 at 10:50AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Retail, Airlines, Engineering and Pharmaceuticals sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Agro Processing, Logistics, Trading and Industrial Consumables sectors.
