Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

Chemfab Alkalis, Rallis India, Tata Chemicals, NIIT Learning System and Vardhman Poly, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:15AM.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Chemfab Alkalis, Rallis India, Tata Chemicals, NIIT Learning System and Vardhman Poly, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:15AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 21.66 points to 22495.7 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Platinum Industries, Indiabulls Intgrtd, Sanco Industries, Compuage Infocom and Vaxtex Cotfab, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 32 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Auto, JSW Steel, Tata Steel, UPL and Bajaj Finance were among top gainers, while M&M, BPCL, SBI Life, Axis Bank and RIL traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 66.96 points up at 74152.95 at 11:15AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Aquaculture, Telecommunications, Fertilisers, Holding Company and Pesticides/Agro Chemicals sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Agro Processing, Logistics, Mining and Learning & Education sectors.
