Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Welspun Invst, Laxmi Goldorna House, Modern Threads(India)Ltd., Eurotex Ind and Vardhman Poly, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:05AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 57.96 points to 22298.35 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as IIFL Finance, Platinum Industries, Compuage Infocom, Digidrive Distributo and Agro Tech Foods, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 12 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 38 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Auto and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers, while NTPC, ONGC, Power Grid, Wipro and BPCL traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 99.94 points down at 73577.19 at 11:05AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Banks, ReIT, InvIT and Holding Company sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Logistics, Trading, Industrial Consumables and IT - Hardware sectors.
