Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Khaitan(India), Tarmat Ltd, Chemfab Alkalis, SML Isuzu and Jio Financial Servic, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 20.0 points to 22237.45 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Silgo Retail, Excel Realty N Infr, MPS Infotecnics, Vibhor Steel Tubes and Eurotex Ind, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 29 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 21 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Titan Company, Dr. Reddys, Cipla, Bajaj Finserv and HDFC Life were among top gainers, while Asian Paints, Bharti Airtel, NTPC, Power Grid and BPCL traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 64.12 points up at 73222.36 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Aquaculture, Tourism & Hospitality, IT - Hardware and Gems and Jewellery sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Logistics, Industrial Consumables, Mining and Trading sectors.
