Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

Savita Oil Tech, Hindustan Media, BF Utilities, ABB India and KPI Global Infra, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Savita Oil Tech, Hindustan Media, BF Utilities, ABB India and KPI Global Infra, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 66.8 points to 21988.25 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Future Consumer, Vibhor Steel Tubes, Tirupati Forge, Nagreeka Capital and Creative Eye, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 19 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 31 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Eicher Motors, Axis Bank, HCL Tech, Hindalco and Tech Mahindra were among top gainers, while BPCL, Bharti Airtel, Power Grid, UPL and Dr. Reddys traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 168.8 points down at 72454.29 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Engineering, Petrochemicals, Tobacco and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Logistics, Trading, Defence and Term Lending Institutions sectors.
