Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Nectar Lifesc, Confidence Petro, Rain Ind., Natco Pharma and SaskenTech, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:15AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 126.55 points to 22037.3 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as N K Industries, Polyplex Corp., Vaxtex Cotfab, GIR Natureview and 3rd Rock MultiMedia, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 43 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 7 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, M&M, Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki were among top gainers, while Power Grid, ONGC, Apollo Hospital, Axis Bank and ITC traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 373.25 points up at 72423.63 at 11:15AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Petrochemicals, Auto, Irrigation & Allied Services and Pharmaceuticals sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Logistics, Defence, Electric/Electronics and Trading sectors.
