Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of TRF Ltd, Balaji Telef, Patel Integrat, Sakthi Sugars and EIH, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 49.8 points to 21979.2 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Navin Fluorine, Latteys Industries, Stampede Cap(DVR), GIR Natureview and 3rd Rock MultiMedia, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 28 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 22 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Life, SBI, Axis Bank, Coal India Ltd and Hindalco were among top gainers, while Infosys, Power Grid, IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank and Eicher Motors traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 107.11 points up at 72293.2 at 10:55AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Sugar, Power, Industrial Equipment and Real Estate sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Logistics, IT - Hardware, Defence and Trading sectors.
