Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of MRO-TEK Realty, Xchanging Sol, Lagnam Spintex, Udayshivakumar Infra and Banaras Beads, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:10AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 75.65 points to 21847.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Butterfly Gandhi, Stampede Cap(DVR), Sheetal Cool, Melstar Info and Kabra Extrusion, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 32 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Life, Bharti Airtel, Wipro, BPCL and TCS were among top gainers, while Power Grid, ITC, Britannia, Hindalco and IndusInd Bank traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 217.72 points up at 71949.14 at 11:10AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Irrigation & Allied Services, Tea / Coffee, IT Software and Industrial Equipment sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Logistics, Defence, Mining and Airlines sectors.
