Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Uma Exports, Shiva Texyarn, Airo Lam, Manugraph India and MMP Industries, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 24.05 points to 21749.75 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Godha Cabcon & Insul, Creative Eye, Keerti Knowledge, Nagreeka Capital and GI Engineering, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 24 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Maruti Suzuki, M&M, Power Grid, Eicher Motors and Cipla were among top gainers, while Grasim Inds., LTIMindtree, ONGC, Bajaj Finance and ICICI Bank traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 86.68 points up at 71838.79 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Airlines, Aquaculture, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock and Auto sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Logistics, Industrial Consumables, Trading and Defence sectors.
