Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Manaksia Aluminium, Trans & Rectif, IFCI, IFB Industries and Puravankara, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 129.96 points to 21368.75 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Excel Realty N Infr, Shyam Telecom, Infomedia Press, Alps Industries and Shrenik, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 39 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 11 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, IndusInd Bank, Dr. Reddys, SBI and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers, while Axis Bank, Asian Paints, Hero MotoCorp, Eicher Motors and M&M traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 382.95 points up at 70753.5 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Term Lending Institutions, Telecommunications, Cables, Aquaculture and Trading sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Logistics, Defence, Apparels and Electric/Electronics sectors.
