Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of HLV Ltd., Swelect Energy, Bharat Road Net, Visaka Ind and Borosil Renewables, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:05AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 16.71 points to 21555.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Tatva Chintan Pharm, Stampede Cap(DVR), HDFC Bank, Ugar Sugar Work and Inox India, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 25 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 25 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, Sun Pharma, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank and Power Grid were among top gainers, while HDFC Bank, Coal India Ltd, Britannia, ONGC and Asian Paints traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 49.04 points down at 71374.61 at 11:05AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Hospitals & Allied Services, Pharmaceuticals, Glass and Electric/Electronics sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Media & Entertainment, Logistics, Defence and Aquaculture sectors.
