Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Visagar Polytex, Motisons Jewellers, UFO Moviez, Network18 Media and Sarveshwar Foods, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:04AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 1.0 points to 21543.85 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Raj Rayon, Happy Forgings, Gandhar Oil Refinery, GRP Ltd and Transwarr Fin, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 16 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 32 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, SBI Life, Adani Ent., HCL Tech, Cipla and HDFC Life were among top gainers, while BPCL, ONGC, NTPC, Eicher Motors and Coal India Ltd traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 39.44 points down at 71346.77 at 10:04AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Aquaculture, Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment, Glass and Infrastructure sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Agro Processing, Logistics, Defence and Construction sectors.
