Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Pavna Industries, Pondy Oxides, PNB Gilts, Laxmi Cotspin and Morarjee Text, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:20AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 185.25 points to 21698.25 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as SKS Textiles, Raj Rayon, Muthoot Microfin, Gandhar Oil Refinery and GIR Natureview, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 44 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 6 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, Adani Ent., Hero MotoCorp, Tata Motors and L&T were among top gainers, while Nestle India, ONGC, UPL, Asian Paints and UltraTech Cem. traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 552.51 points up at 71907.73 at 11:20AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Shipping, Learning & Education, Airlines and Engineering sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Agro Processing, Logistics, Apparels and Plastics sectors.
