Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Surya Roshni, Vineet Laboratories, Trans & Rectif, Wendt India and HMA Agro Industries, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:24AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 71.95 points to 21706.75 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Bajel Projects, Akshar Spintex, Raj Rayon, Muthoot Microfin and Palash Securities, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 15 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Consumer, Tata Motors, Adani Ports SEZ, Wipro and Adani Ent. were among top gainers, while BPCL, NTPC, Coal India Ltd, ONGC and Power Grid traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 217.04 points down at 72193.34 at 10:24AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Tea / Coffee, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Trading and Shipping sectors, while selling was visible in Agro Processing, Plastics, Construction, Fertilisers and Apparels sectors.
