Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of HUDCO, SecMark Consultancy, Mahindra EPC, VL E-Governance & IT and Greenpanel Ind, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:44AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 32.9 points to 21687.65 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Lakshmi Precis, Bajel Projects, Motisons Jewellers, Akshar Spintex and Raj Rayon, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 29 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 21 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, Hero MotoCorp, NTPC, BPCL and Hindalco were among top gainers, while Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra, Grasim Inds., Infosys and Eicher Motors traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 160.49 points up at 72198.92 at 10:44AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Petrochemicals, Mining, Metals - Non Ferrous and Glass sectors, while selling was visible in Agro Processing, Plastics, Construction, Services and Fertilisers sectors.
