Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of SAL Steel Ltd, CL Educate, Lokesh Machines, Hindcon Chemicals and Gallantt Metal, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:19AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 108.0 points to 21561.1 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Bajel Projects, Bohra Industries, SEL Manufact, GRP Ltd and Nagreeka Capital, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 42 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 8 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, LTIMindtree, Wipro, TCS, Britannia and Eicher Motors were among top gainers, while Axis Bank, Sun Pharma, ICICI Bank, Grasim Inds. and UPL traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 362.51 points up at 71799.7 at 10:19AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Learning & Education, Telecommunications, Industrial Consumables, Media & Entertainment and Glass sectors, while selling was visible in Agro Processing, Plastics, Construction, Airlines and Apparels sectors.
