Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Times Guaranty, Tourism Finance, Vertoz Advertising, Nintec Systems Ltd. and Lypsa Gems, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:49AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 23.85 points to 21394.8 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Bohra Industries, Raj Rayon, SEL Manufact, GIR Natureview and Sri Adhikari, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 19 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 31 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Nestle India, Tata Consumer, Coal India Ltd, ONGC and ITC were among top gainers, while Wipro, Hero MotoCorp, Adani Ports SEZ, TCS and HCL Tech traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 66.44 points down at 71248.65 at 10:49AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Term Lending Institutions, Aquaculture, FMCG and Petrochemicals sectors, while selling was visible in Agro Processing, Plastics, Apparels, Engineering and Electric/Electronics sectors.
