Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Oriental Trimex, Tera Software, Coral India Finance, IL&FS Invest and Deep Industries, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 69.65 points to 21252.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Raj Rayon, SEL Manufact, Winsome Yarns, Lakshmi Precis and Wealth First Port, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 34 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 16 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, JSW Steel, Infosys, UPL, Hindalco and Tata Steel were among top gainers, while HDFC Life, Nestle India, Axis Bank, SBI Life and Kotak Bank traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 302.69 points up at 70816.89 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Fertilisers, Aquaculture, Chemicals and Glass sectors, while selling was visible in Agro Processing, Plastics, Electric/Electronics, Construction and Financial Services sectors.
