Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Kothari Petro, Sharda Motor, CarTrade Tech, Venus Remedies and IFGL Refractories, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:34AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 29.8 points to 19365.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as M K Proteins, Hindcon Chemicals, Compuage Infocom, Campus Activewear and Petronet LNG, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 18 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 32 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Adani Ports SEZ, Bajaj Finance, NTPC and Tech Mahindra were among top gainers, while M&M, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, LTIMindtree and Asian Paints traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 110.41 points down at 64721.79 at 10:34AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Shipping, Paper, Sugar and IT Enabled Services sectors, while selling was visible in Agro Processing, Beverages - Alcoholic, Construction, Cables and Fertilisers sectors.
