Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Emkay Global, Orbit Exports, Maan Aluminium, Plaza Wires and Suven Life Sci, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:50AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 93.65 points to 19140.9 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Speciality Rest, Shree Ram Proteins, Khaitan(India), Winsome Yarns and Precot Meridian, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 26 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, UltraTech Cem., ONGC, RIL and SBI Life were among top gainers, while UPL, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Axis Bank and Bajaj Auto traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 329.85 points up at 64112.65 at 10:50AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Trading, Real Estate, Learning & Education and Plastics sectors, while selling was visible in Agro Processing, Defence, Rubber, Construction and Fertilisers sectors.
