Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Welspun Invst, Macpower CNC Machine, Wonderla Holidays, Avadh Sugar Energy and BSE, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:44AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 18.7 points to 19300.45 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Krishana Phoschem, Updater Service, V Mart Retail, Winsome Yarns and Nakoda Group Of Ind, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 29 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 21 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, LTIMindtree and SBI were among top gainers, while Infosys, HDFC Life, Cipla, Apollo Hospital and NTPC traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 81.04 points up at 64652.92 at 10:44AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Sugar, Telecommunications, Airlines, Industrial Equipment and Tyres sectors, while selling was visible in Cables, Trading, Construction, Holding Company and Electric/Electronics sectors.
