Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Oriental Hotels, HT Media, Eimco Elecon, Ahlada Engineers and Advani Hotels, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:15AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 94.65 points to 19558.85 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Steel Exchange, Lords Chloro, Diamines Chem, ideaForge Technology and IKIO Lighting, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 13 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 37 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HCL Tech, Dr. Reddys, TCS, ONGC and Eicher Motors were among top gainers, while Adani Ports SEZ, BPCL, Adani Ent., SBI and Titan Company traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 317.06 points down at 65678.57 at 11:15AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, IT Software, Metals - Non Ferrous, Hospitals & Allied Services and Tea / Coffee sectors, while selling was visible in Defence, Power, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Building Materials and Metals - Ferrous sectors.
