Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of GTPL Hathway, Metro Brands, Cords Cable Ind, Themis Medicare and GOCL Corporation, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:24AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 129.4 points to 19508.9 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Jalan Transolutions, FutureLifestyleFash, ideaForge Technology, Marvel Decor and Mahickra Chemicals, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 10 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 40 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, HUL, UltraTech Cem., Asian Paints and BPCL were among top gainers, while ONGC, Eicher Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Hindalco and Hero MotoCorp traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 381.98 points down at 65446.43 at 10:24AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Leather, Telecommunications, IT - Hardware, Trading and Shipping sectors, while selling was visible in Defence, Power, Building Materials, Metals - Non Ferrous and Metals - Ferrous sectors.
