Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Mazda Ltd, Nelcast, Finolex Cables, Pilani Invest and MCX India, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:00AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 24.4 points to 19692.05 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as HAL, Sahaj Fashions, Nuvama Wealth Manage, Jiwanram Sheoduttrai and FutureLifestyleFash, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 21 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 29 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, L&T, Adani Ports SEZ, Axis Bank, Sun Pharma and Power Grid were among top gainers, while Tech Mahindra, Asian Paints, Britannia, ITC and M&M traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 75.1 points down at 66043.59 at 11:00AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Construction, Miscellaneous, Cables and Industrial Consumables sectors, while selling was visible in Defence, Banks, Building Materials, Power and Term Lending Institutions sectors.
