Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sonu Infratech, Schneider, MTNL, KM Sugar Mills and Nelcast, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:45AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 36.25 points to 19638.0 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Delta Corp, Pramara Promotions, Jiwanram Sheoduttrai, FutureLifestyleFash and Shree Ram Proteins, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 21 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 29 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Consumer and UPL were among top gainers, while SBI Life, L&T, Infosys, IndusInd Bank and Hero MotoCorp traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 115.35 points down at 65893.8 at 10:45AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Sugar, Telecommunications, NBFC, Tea / Coffee and Learning & Education sectors, while selling was visible in Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, Term Lending Institutions, Building Materials and Power sectors.
