Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Jindal Photo, KIOCL, Hathway Cable, Sonu Infratech and Nava Bharat Vent., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 121.55 points to 19779.85 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as FutureLifestyleFash, Jiwanram Sheoduttrai, Penta Gold, SS Infrastructure and AB Infrabuild, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 12 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 38 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, Hindalco, Adani Ent., Dr. Reddys and UPL were among top gainers, while ICICI Bank, Grasim Inds., HCL Tech, TCS and LTIMindtree traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 436.16 points down at 66364.68 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Shipping, Mining, Miscellaneous and Holding Company sectors, while selling was visible in Banks, Term Lending Institutions, Power, Building Materials and Petrochemicals sectors.
