Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of SRG Housing Fin, HT Media, Dhanlaxmi Bank, GMR Power and Urban and Andrew Yule, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:04AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 75.05 points to 20178.15 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Penta Gold, Ratnaveer Precision, Brookfield India Rea and Vaxtex Cotfab, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 32 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, Grasim Inds., Tata Motors and HDFC Bank were among top gainers, while Asian Paints, HUL, Power Grid, BPCL and Tata Steel traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 249.29 points up at 67768.29 at 11:04AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Auto, Fertilisers, Tea / Coffee and Mining sectors, while selling was visible in Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, Power, Building Materials and Airlines sectors.
