Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Trans & Rectif, IndiaPowerCorp, Emmbi Industries, PDS Multi&Fash and Mazagon Dock Ship, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:26AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 39.55 points to 19766.6 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Penta Gold, Bombay Metrics Suppl, FutureLifestyleFash, GNA Axles and TCNS Clothing, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 27 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, NTPC, Coal India Ltd, L&T, Tata Motors and Bajaj Finserv were among top gainers, while Hindalco, JSW Steel, Apollo Hospital, Wipro and ITC traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 133.79 points up at 66399.35 at 11:26AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Term Lending Institutions, Telecommunications, Defence, Mining and Airlines sectors, while selling was visible in Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, Trading, Petrochemicals and Metals - Ferrous sectors.
