Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Times Guaranty, Pokarna Ltd, ITD Cementation, Birla Cable and BHEL, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 75.4 points to 19329.2 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as GNA Axles, Hotel Rugby, Sanco Industries, FutureLifestyleFash and Pyramid Technoplast, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 37 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 13 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Tata Steel, Hindalco, Coal India Ltd and SBI Life were among top gainers, while Asian Paints, Britannia, Divis Labs, Dr. Reddys and Nestle India traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 185.6 points up at 65017.01 at 10:55AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Mining, Defence, Metals - Non Ferrous and Gas & Petroleum sectors, while selling was visible in Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, Petrochemicals, Building Materials and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors.
