Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Hercules Hoists, SRG Housing Fin, Pritika Engineering, Urban Enviro Waste and BSE, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:10AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 36.25 points to 19311.2 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as TCNS Clothing, Penta Gold, Pyramid Technoplast, Surani Steel Tubes and Palash Securities, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 17 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 33 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Maruti Suzuki, Hindalco, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech and UltraTech Cem. were among top gainers, while Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, BPCL, Nestle India and Bajaj Finance traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 79.69 points down at 65007.56 at 11:10AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Electric/Electronics, Infrastructure, Aquaculture and IT Software sectors, while selling was visible in Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, Building Materials, Shipping and Petrochemicals sectors.
