Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Birla Cable, Motor Gen Fin, Patel Integrat, Universal Cable and Ethos Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:24AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 60.0 points to 19577.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as SITI Networks, Synoptics Technologi, BKM Industries, SMVD Poly Pack and Godha Cabcon & Insul, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 32 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Divis Labs, Sun Pharma, Hindalco and UltraTech Cem. were among top gainers, while Britannia, Nestle India, Bajaj Finance, Titan Company and ONGC traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 211.4 points up at 65932.65 at 10:24AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Term Lending Institutions, Cables, Services and IT Enabled Services sectors, while selling was visible in Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, IT - Hardware, Building Materials and Petrochemicals sectors.
