Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of GE Power India, Dynamic Cables, KEC Int., DB Corp. and Star Cement, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:09AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 108.6 points to 19624.95 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as SMVD Poly Pack, BKM Industries, Richa Info Systems L, Jalan Transolutions and Sintex Plastics Tech, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 8 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 42 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, Power Grid, Adani Ent., ONGC and Infosys were among top gainers, while Tata Steel, Tata Consumer, Hero MotoCorp, Hindalco and Tata Motors traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 354.51 points down at 66104.8 at 10:09AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Cables, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Miscellaneous and Infrastructure sectors, while selling was visible in Banks, IT - Hardware, Irrigation & Allied Services, Building Materials and Petrochemicals sectors.
