Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

Jeena Sikho Lifecare, Orient Green Pwr, Cell Point(India), KIOCL and Dilip Buildcon, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:09AM.

Nagaraj Shetti, Technical Research Analyst at HDFC Securities, believes Monday's pattern could be considered as a High Wave, which reflects high volatility in the market at swing highs.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Jeena Sikho Lifecare, Orient Green Pwr, Cell Point(India), KIOCL and Dilip Buildcon, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:09AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 35.4 points to 19789.2 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as SMVD Poly Pack, Advitiya Trade India, Jalan Transolutions, Viji Finance and UPL, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 30 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, NTPC, Tech Mahindra, Eicher Motors, Hero MotoCorp and M&M were among top gainers, while Power Grid, Apollo Hospital, SBI Life, UPL and Adani Ports SEZ traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 112.34 points up at 66640.01 at 10:09AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Fertilisers, Apparels, IT - Hardware and Textiles sectors, while selling was visible in Banks, Cables, Irrigation & Allied Services, Building Materials and Real Estate sectors.
