Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of GKW Ltd, Uma Exports, Ducol Organics & Col, Baid Leasing and Signet Ind, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 22.55 points to 18738.7 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as D P Abhushan, Swastik Pipe, Infollion Research, Sahana System and Rachana Infrastructu, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 31 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 19 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Consumer, JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Power Grid and Hindalco were among top gainers, while Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finserv, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Finance and Infosys traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 12.34 points up at 63155.5 at 10:55AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Cables, Telecommunications, Fertilisers, IT - Hardware and Learning & Education sectors, while selling was visible in Trading, Real Estate, Media & Entertainment, General and Industrial Consumables sectors.
